Return on Investment (ROI) Ltd is set to provide automaker Volkswagen Group UK with fleet sales and customer relationship management (CRM) support services under a new agreement.
The five-year deal will see more than 50 ROI Ltd staff working with the group’s five vehicle brands and Volkswagen UK Financial Services.
Nantwich-headquartered ROI has managed Volkswagen’s existing operation for four years, but had to compete in a five-month tender process against eight other businesses for the new contract.
ROI will operate from a new office in Milton Keynes to facilitate the extended relationship, supporting more than 50 field-based sales managers with appointment setting and diary management.
At its Cheshire HQ, the company will run a lead generation operation for Volkswagen Financial Services.
Nigel Sandiford, the company’s chief executive, said: "Our aim is to continue and improve upon the award-winning solution we have provided to Volkswagen Group for the last four years.
"Last year we arranged circa 15,000 test-drives for Volkswagen and put the Volkswagen Group sales team in front of more than 7,000 fleet decision makers helping Volkswagen Group to a record year for sales.”
He added: "We are setting ourselves a tough challenge to try and better those figures, but we have huge confidence in our incredibly talented team.”

"What helped win them the contract though, was a commitment to drive the operation forward with the latest sales and marketing tools and analytics.”
ROI Ltd employs more than 240 people across five locations in the UK and Europe.
