‘Balancing the Budget’ – Share your views on Council spending to support local services

Date added: 25/10/2017

Cheshire West and Chester Council has launched a consultation about how their budget is spent supporting local services  The consultation is called ‘Balancing the Budget’ and we would like to hear your views about how we can make additional savings over the next two years and prioritise the things communities tell us are important.

As you will be aware, there are unprecedented financial pressures on public services.  Your views are vital in helping us shape future services and make the difficult decisions that lie ahead.

There are lots of ways you can tell us what you think.  See our dedicated website for more information www.cheshirewestandchester.gov.uk/balancingthebudget .

Here you can find more information about our proposals, have a go at setting the Council’s budget yourself using our budget simulator and take part via social media.

We also have a live webcast debate on 8th November, where senior Councillors will be answering your questions.  You can send in a question in advance via the website.

You can also email us with views or request printed copies of the consultation booklet via BalancingtheBudget@cheshirewestandchester.gov.uk
