Big engine deal for Runcorn company

RUNCORN-based industrial engine specialist James Troop & Co has secured a  six-figure deal to supply new engines to Speke based hydraulic equipment supplier Yuken. Family-run James Troop is an official supplier and service centre for some of the world's biggest engine manufacturers including Volvo Penta, MTU, MAN Diesel and Daihatsu. It was tasked with supplying four Volvo Penta D8 235kw engines for Yuken to fit at its Speke Hall Industrial Estate headquarters.James Troop managing director Bob Troop said the deal was parti....
