Ensphere, which uses Sage enterprise software to provide IT services to approximately 90 clients across the UK, has a turnover of £2.8m and employs 30 members of staff. All existing staff will be retained as part of the transaction.

Certus Technology Group, which provides technology consultancy services such as managed IT support and security to more than 120 clients across the UK, has a turnover of £4m and 40 members of staff.

Wayne Nolan, managing director of Ensphere Consulting, will join the Certus board and continue to oversee the Sage side of the newly enlarged business.

Headquartered at Celtic Springs in Newport, Certus also has an office in Hemel Hempstead.
