A national flooring specialist has let a speculatively-built 13,965 sq ft warehouse in Warrington.
Bathgate Flooring is moving from Warrington town centre to 711 Cavendish Avenue in Birchwood Park.
The switch means that Bathgate Flooring will benefit from enterprise zone status. It will receive a range of benefits available to occupiers within the Cheshire Science Corridor Enterprise Zone, including savings of up to £275,000 on business rates over five years.
The 711-713 Cavendish Avenue scheme (pictured) was completed in May 2016.
Tony Osborne, manager at Bathgate Flooring, said: "When deciding on a new location for our floor coverings operation, the flexibility on offer at Cavendish Avenue was a real deciding factor.
"With its state-of-the-art facilities, it will provide an impressive space to invite customers and suppliers. It's unusual to find the quality of unit we have found here, with access to such an extensive range of amenities onsite and within a real community environment."
Birchwood Park is managed by PATRIZIA.
Martin O'Rourke, commercial director at Birchwood Park, said: "We are thrilled to be welcoming Bathgate Flooring to our growing business community.
"As part of the Cheshire Science Corridor Enterprise Zone, Cavendish Avenue is an exciting prospect for any business looking for the flexibility needed to support business growth. This combination of office and warehouse space in a landscaped, business park setting is unique and we look forward to welcoming further new occupiers as they choose to make Birchwood Park their home."
