Groom Room and in-store vets boost Pets at Home

PETS at Home, has reported a leap in sales driven by its loyalty card scheme and growth in its vets business and pampering salons for dogs. The Handforth-based company, which listed on the stock market in March, said like-for-like sales for the 28 weeks to October 9 were up 4.2%. Total revenue, including new store openings, climbed 10.2% to £381.5m. The retailer now boasts 385 stores and 2.6 million members of its VIP scheme, up from 377 and 2m at the end of the last financial year, respectively. Pets at Home said 39% of its s.....
