Manufacturing space approved at Omega

APPROVAL has been granted for the first manufacturing space at Omega, the development at the former Burtonwood air base near Warrington. Omega Warrington Ltd (OWL), a joint venture between Miller and Royal Bank of Scotland-owned KUC Properties, wants to build a 200,000 sq ft warehouse with 20,000 sq ft of offices, 240 parking spaces and 49 truck spaces in the southern part of the scheme. The development would take up a 10-acre plot in Zone 7, north of Orion Boulevard where a further 10 acres are also earmarked for manufacturing space...
