The Federation of Small Businesses (FSB) is putting on a brand new breakfast networking event in Macclesfield, with the launch event set for Tuesday, May 17th at the town’s rugby club.
The regular business bash will subsequently take place on the third Tuesday of every month between 7.00am and 8.45am, and will run an open door policy for business people.
The new event is part of a pilot programme being run by FSB in five regions across the UK. If it proves popular the event will become a regular feature in the FSB’s local events programme.
Simon Edmondson said: "Macclesfield was selected for the pilot as it’s seen as being a business rich area, but conversely where the business networking market is not as saturated as in nearby south Manchester.
"We hoping it will attract business owners from across the wider borough, such as Knutsford and Wilmslow, as well as those further afield such as Stockport, Buxton, and Congleton.
"Each session will offer a mixture of networking styles, and the chance for one business at every meeting to win a five minute pitch to all those present.”
He added: "Anyone can attend these networking meetings so I would urge all business owners to come along and check out what we’re doing, whether it’s the May 17th launch event or one of the subsequent meets on the 3rd Tuesday of the every month.”
Entry is £10 on the door at Macclefield RUFC, and includes breakfast and refreshments. To help with catering arrangements attendees are asked to reserve a place using the following link: http://bit.ly/1SGPEAe
