Plans in for first manufacturing space at Omega

PLANS have gone in for the first manufacturing space at the Omega development at the former Burtonwood air base near Warrington. Omega Warrington Ltd (OWL), a joint venture between Miller and Royal Bank of Scotland-owned KUC Properties, has submitted an application for a 200,000 sq ft warehouse with 20,000 sq ft of offices, 240 parking spaces and 49 truck spaces in the southern part of the scheme. It would take up a 10-acre plot in Zone 7, north of Orion Boulevard where a further 10 acres is also earmarked for manufacturing space. A .....
