Plans are set to be unveiled for a major new energy-from-waste facility in Northwich.
DONG Energy's proposals for a bioresource facility using the company's REnescience technology will be showcased at exhibitions between Thursday, 9 July and Tuesday, 14 July 2015.
The facility would recover resources from waste and generate renewable electricity through treatment with enzymes, mechanical sorting and anaerobic digestion without incineration.
The plant would require about 24 full-time employees to operate it. Construction contractors, electricians and metal workers would also be needed to build and maintain the facility.
The exhibitions will be held at: Lostock Gralam Community Centre from 2pm to 645pm on Thursday, 9 July; Lostock Sports & Social Club from 10am to 4pm on Saturday, 11 July; and Rudheath Sports & Social Club from 2pm to 730pm on Tuesday, 14 July.
